Izabella is the name of a hendrix song and I just like the name, I've had it for a while so I'm used to people mistaking me for a girl (it happens on the line 6 forums too).

As for the singing, I agree with whoever said you're trying a song that isn't well within your range. It sounds like its a strain for you to get that pitch...Just for singing's sake, I'd like to recomend a song called "No Man's Land" by Billy Joel... you can talk to me on aim about it. Its much deeper, but I don't know, you'll have to see.
Nice guitar stuff indeed. As for the singing, this one is obviously not written to be sung by you (same here, if I try to sing it it sounds even worse), so don't be bothered too much by it.
