There seems to be alot of interest the last week or so in open G tuning and slide, so I tossed together this and posted it. A few mistakes but was a one off recording, no fixes. Just to give people an idea of what you can do with slide and open tunings.

Sliding Country Blues is the name. Feel free to play with it any way you like.

Immature? Of course I'm immature Einstein, I'm 50 and in a Rock and ROll band.

sounds good! I agree with yoyo, it does sound almost like a harmonica 8)You can get a nice tone with a cheap old guitar just as well, Page used a old danelectro or silvertone on some recordings ( in my time of dying)
I love to play in open G and D :D I write about half of my songs in open tunings. check out my web site, hummer, dead beatles blues, santa's not sober, feet won't stop and cut my stone are all in open G ( please don't laugh to much at my tunes   ) I realy love slide guitar!!!!--Again GOOD JOB!!!!

I did that last holiday season as a " christmas card " to the GN gang. It kind of a Elmoore James meets Tom Waits Christmas  the photo next to it was me in 1977, christmas eve playing " Pass out" with my cousin Russ, (yes its a real board game) I'm about to loose the game, Mom was real upset at me that year for some reason.

I recorded it on my tascam 4-track cassette using my cheap johnson acoustic, I did 3 guitar tracks using a pickup and reverb unit and 1 vocal track--the dog
