I've been working on this song for about 2 weeks now and did a rough take. I want to post the finished product once I've nailed it but Tool songs are hard. Most rock songs are 1 riff for the verse, 1 for the chorus and throw in a couple more for a bridge and solo. Tool songs have each verse and chorus played differently and are in the weirdest time signatures so it takes me a while to learn them.
Feedback would be appreciated

I don't know the song, but that sounded very cool!

I'm afraid I don't know the song either. Sounded good, though. I heard the amp buzzin' before the music started and knew it was gonna be hot. Was that with the new Epi?

"I wonder if a composer ever intentionally composed a piece that was physically impossible to play and stuck it away to be found years later after his death, knowing it would forever drive perfectionist musicians crazy." - George Carlin
One of my favorite Tool songs ever. You did a good job with it. Just remembering all the different parts is an accomplishment. I tried learning The Pot on bass a while back and had to back burner it. Keep working on it and you'll nail it.
Hey thats pretty good! You have come a long way on guitar :note1: :note2:
I have to admit i have never heard it either - and i will youtube the original, but i do like what i heard. A good job!
"I like to play that guitar. I have to stare at it while I'm playing it because I'm not very good at playing it."
Noel Gallagher (who took the words right out of my mouth)
