Folsom Prison Blues was recorded at Sun Records,in Nashville Tennessee in 1956 by
Johnny Cash and the Tennessee Two. his most famous album is a live recording of the song
and performance in Folsom Prison. early 1960's ? I forget.
the recent movie, "Walk the Line" is a must see.

Oh, about the tuning: I actually like. I'm probably one of the few idiots who things like this but I strongly dislike stuff that's perfectly in tune. For this reason I always use de-tuners and pitch variators on my MIDI instruments and tune the guitars by ear. In your song the ukelele is very noticably out-of tune with the groove underneath but that adds to it, for me. It's not off too much so you can hear the melody and harmony but off enough to get this 'pulse' going that is having an impact on the atmosphere. I know everyone has a different opinion on it so just follow your own ears. :)
