This post is copied from the Gigs and Jams Forum. Seems appropriate to post it in Hear Here. Venue and personnel details from this David Hodge Production can be found over in Gigs and Jams under the topic "Riverside Jam Touring Company Twin Bill"
Here are the first of some cuts recorded at the Monterey General Store on Friday Night. These are recorded by the mysterious "Fred" and hosted compliments of Nick. I will post some more later.

Okay -- Here's a few more from GN's resident jam band at the Monterey General Store:

Dead Flowers

Fire!

Saturn's Moons -- a Dave Hodge Original

Angel from Montgomery Wards

Pocahontas

Eurotrash Girl

Thanks for listening!

First I would like to second everything Dog said.

The first time I heard Joel sing Dead Flowers I was blown away
and look forward to whenever I get a chance to hear him.

No I did not make this gig but Wes,Laz, and I joined David and
friends the following night.

Good time was had by all.

Thx everyone. It's what we do for fun, and we like to share it, mistakes and goofiness along with the passable. We somehow manage a bit of chaotic on-the-fly arrangement (thanks to David, who does pay attention), are usually happy just to start and stop together, and compel all comers who admit to playing or singing to join us. It is a party. The owner of the Monterey General Store was great, too. He let us eat and drink pretty much anything we could find. Some good stuff in that place -- well there was ...

So remember, if we ever meet you at Riverside Jam Traveling All-Star show, you most like are going to make a "special guest appearance." And the next time you show up, you're just part of the band.
