What I was wondering is if I got the "BROWN SOUND" right? or Close?
This is a 5150 patch on my GT-8. I think it's pretty close... oh yeah and this song rocks too... Still learning it though.

A trick EVH used was to add miniscule pitchshifting to fatten up the sound. Use the PS in the GT8 and set one slightly flat and the other slightly sharp. Don't overdo it or it'll sound weird and out of tune. Good playing btw, maybe try to find a backing for it with drums and bass?

Arjen I was looking at that patch, I have two that are EVH patches, one is the 5150 the other is an "Eruption" patch. The latter I know has the PS engaged.
It was weird, that song all of a sudden came into my head and I looked it up in my Guitar Pro Library and sure enough it was there... That's not the weird part though. What's weird is I don't remember hearing that song for a long long time. <Shrug>.
I'll look for a BT and the original, I know have a CD here somewhere and keep practicing. Hell I may even get to pull of a little Eddie in the next week or so.... :shock: :shock:
