breaking away from covers is hard. but you have to start writing sometime. this has been laying for a month, and i have been adding to it for weeks. so it took me about a month to write. may seem easy but for me it was tough, this is the first time i accualy sat down to write something.

comments, tips, stuff you think might sound cool to add, post here.

named it summer cause when playing it i remembered how fast summer just went by.

Is that you on the piano as well? or a backing track? I remember you playing an Elton John song/riff before.

I thought that sounded AWESOME. I loved the feel of it.

Great job, Rich!!!

You got that type of quality through GuitarPro? Drums and piano?

That was "in your face" type of sound. Clear, crisp and perfect!

If so, that IS AWESOME!!!

Keep up the great work, Rich!!!!!!!!!!!

Rich! This is what I've been waiting for. I think it's an excellent tune. Not pretentious. Not stretching yourself beyond your ability. Keep those coming.

Very nice, I like the feeling in the song. Drums could be brought up a little otherwise, you've got something there.

yeah, nice tune. I'd suggest playing with the attack velocities on the drums to get a more natural feel, and get the bass waaaaay up there. panning is a little hardcore too, but i'm nit-picking really. good going mate!

Rich,

Great job man.. I'm getting this New York City vibe from it...don't know why, but it just gives me a visual of sitting in a penthouse apartment and looking over the Manhatten skyline at night

Very cool.

And this isn't a criticism at all but instead of spending all this time recording yourself at home you need to get in a band and start playing out! You need to share your music with other people.

Well done! Nice mix, nice tune, tasty guitar. It's a wonderful example of how "less is more" can be beautifully evocative!

Downloaded and put on the playlist!
