Something I've been experimenting with the last few days.
Am I on the right track here or should I forget it.
Honest opinion I can take it
John
Sounds like you're on the right track.
Mix could be adjusted a bit. Let me know if you need help.
Mike
I think you're on the right track John. 8)
As far as the mix, I think there is some clipping, (i think that's what you call it - alittle unwanted distortion?), on your vocals, and maybe the levels between the guitar & vocals could be evened out alittle more. That's my only opinion on the recording, besides the fact that you need to add an extended slide solo! If this is something you're trying to work up to play live; I think it'll go over well. Oh! how about a harp solo! Now we're talking! 8)

Sounds good, a bit hard to hear( sounds like a pretty low bit rate from the host site). I liked the guitar :D
Thanks Guys
Yes the mix is a little off. I intentionally did a rough recording
because I want to see live sound was. Yes Dan, I am working
on this as a performance piece. I will definately work on the mix
PA the next time I get to practice this.
Nice to know I'm heading in the right direction.
John
I can't hear it. I can never hear anything in Putfile. I think it's because I'm on a Mac.
Hi,
Thanks for the advice everybody.
I tried adjusting my mix and changed it from open A
to open D which I am more comfortable with.
All comments appreciated.
Pearl, Sorry you can't listen but this is a work in progress and
I really don't want to post it on my SoundClick page yet.

I like it even more in Open D. It seems to fit your vocals better too. Well done. :D
