I have recently discovered this band, and I'm really starting to like them. They have wonderful lyrics and the singer has an awesome voice. I tried to record one of their songs today, Priest Alley Blues. First song in awhile where I actually had to work to get the guitar down. I am not much of a fingerpicker. I was going to do it with the acoustic guitar, but I think the dark, shimmering tone of the sheraton adds to the mood of the song. Only thing is my vox DA-5 kinda has a noisy line-out, but I can deal with that. Check it out, tell me whatcha think!

One chord is fine.
Two you're pushing it.
Three and you're into jazz.

Very nice. Love the Sheraton myself. Like the sound of your voice as well. Sort of Michael Stipes.

BTW, Did someone add Spell-check to the forum?

Wow,
that was great!
When you goin' pro????

It almost lulled me to sleep....
Not because it was boring;
It was just very well done and relaxing.... and I'm kinda tired :wink:
Good job on combining all those elements.... like the bass line 8)

Thankx (again),

Thanks for all the compliments, guys!

The other day I experimented with adding some other guitar parts. I added an acoustic and electric after the 2nd verse.

Tell me what you think.

Hey.... That was really 8)

Very tasefully minimalistic :D

I really like the [acoustic] (I think it is) that plays behind the main body....
When my ears finally tuned into it, I thought you has added a small cymbal/bell/triangle part....
I had to listen closely to figure it out (because my pc sound system is sub-par :roll: )....
That was great! Really liked that part;
Minimal, yet complex at the same time.
