Sounds great! Must be a great feeling to be able to jam with your son like that.

Yeah, it was. We were plenty drunk at the time. The rhythm track is me on guitar and my son on 8 string bass. We took turns soloing with me on guitar and my son on his Tobias 4 string bass. I played my Kramer Standard Pro. I'm putting this backing track up for grabs in the colab thread. I think we will redo it when sober and see the improvements to it. Oddly enough, the backing track is note perfect and we were drinking then too. :? Must have crossed the line some where there huh?

Pretty cool all round - reminded me of Deep Purple. (The REAL Purple - Blackmore, Gillan, Glover, Lord and Paice!!!) You might think, if you're going to do this again, about keeping the bass-line going all through the song on the 4-string, and overdubbing the 8-string for the solos - keep the rhythm and bass going throughout the song.

You play too fast  blew the cobwebs out of my brain.

Some slick playing going, that's the way to do it.

Thanks everybody but your too kind. It was a bit sloppy but we did have fun. We will have to see what we can do with this one when we are sober and take our time. :D
