Ok, I just need a little bit of beginners help here... please...
I have;
-A Computer
-Cubase
-Midi keyboard
-Midi connection lead, which goes into the game controller/midi port of my PC
Simple question; How do I hook it all up? How do I set up the midi on Cubase etc...
If anybody could guide me through this I would be most grateful, as my skill with computers is appaling, and my experience with Midi very limited.

Which version of Cubase do you have? Does the gameport-MIDI interface have more than one connection on it, labelled "In" and "Out"? And lastly, what are you using to generate sound (external sounds via hardware, or internal sound via virtual instruments)? The answer to your question varies slightly, depending on the hardware and software you're using :)
