i recorded a track with cool edit 2 on my computer but when i saved it it was 33.5 mb big thats not good. i need to know who to convert it so that i can burn it to a cd without problem or send it to someone wihtout it taking on hour and a half

After exporting to wav it was 33 mb? Or, have you mixed it down yet?

Keep in mind that a CD quality wav ( 44.1K/16bit ) file takes about 10 megs of disk space for each minute. In that format it's ready to burn to CD.

For audio compression you've got FLAC for lossless compression, mp3 and ogg vorbis for lossy compression
