Anyone have any experience w/ this program? I currently use the first Garageband to record demos and such, but am looking to upgrade since I like some of the capabilities of the 2nd, such as the multi-track recording, and auto-tune features. I dont' hear many ppl talking about it so I'm just wondering if it's as good as Apple says it is.

Thanks!!

Their are some seminars at http://seminars.apple.com/ that are pretty cool and give a good overview of guitars and macs.

Their is also a guy by the name of "strangedogs" over at http://www.agileguitarforums.com that uses garageband 2 i believe. He's very friendly and could probably tell you whatever you wanted to know about it.

I don't have an electric yet but when i do, I'll be running it through garageband. :)

and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.

If you're looking to upgrade from garageband you may want to consider Logic Express. I use Logic Express and am extremely happy with the capabilities. I got it for $150 because of the educational discount. If you're going the education route, then you need to buy at the online apple store. For some reason, my apple retail store said no education discount on software.
