okay so i only play the acoustic guitar but recently i have been wanting to see what else i can really add to my music and im just wondering whether you guys know any good software which does do drum beats (which will work with acoustic) and maybe a bass guitar player sort of software thing :)

obvs i would prefer it if they where free but i do understand sometimes good things arnt free and you have to pay for them so thats not too bad.

just your suggestions guys :)

I have heard of freeware drum beats....fruity loops??
I use purchased software; ezdrummer. most excellent sounding. also for other instruments, like bass, accordian, etc, I use the VST s in a recording platform that came with a digital interface.

you an pickup an inexpensive drum machine. I have a Roland that is a riot. also, those Casio keyboards have drum beats.
the Casio's can be had for practically nothing.

GarageBand. It should already be in your system. I didn't explore the new version yet but the old one has all you say and much more.

Playing guitar and never playing for others is like studying medicine and never working in a clinic.
