I found a Carlos Santana Homepage with some video lessons showing how he plays with left hand and his comments on the songs.
Go to http://www.santana.com/frameset2.html
Then in the top menu select Players -> Musicians Corner , goto Musicians Corners menu and select interactive lessons and select Carlos Santana.
