Somewhere in another section, somebody commented about finding a certain tab in "GP3" format. I did a little Googling around, and found Guitar Pro ( http://www.guitar-pro.com/en/index.php ). They're up to Version 5 now, which will also play songs tabbed with all previous versions. I downloaded the demo of GP5.
In scoping out MySongBook ( http://www.mysongbook.com ), the big archive of songs tabbed with GP, I found a tab for "Highway Song" by Blackfoot. Okay, as with most such programs, the MIDI is pretty cheesey, but . . .
Wes, if you could check it out sometime and see how close that tab is to the version you play with Twist of Fate, I'd appreciate it. That might save you the effort of tabbing it out, if it's an improvement over the other tabs I've found on the 'Net so far for "Highway Song."
I also just noticed that A.J. Charron did a review of GP4 back in March of '03. I think he liked it, but I'm going to go check out the entire article now. https://www.guitarnoise.com/review.php?id=241

If you buy the full version, you get RSE, which is a MIDI driver that gives sounds that are far better than normal GP or Powertab MIDI.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

That's a relief.
The MIDI in free players (you gotta buy the songs) like GuitarVision or Guitar Guru isn't all that special, either, but it works. I guess it's just the nature of it.
Thanks, Greybeard.
