Hey everyone, i need some help as i am a newbie.
I recently got a mesa recording pre amp and a 20/20 power amp and cab to play it through. Howerver, after playing for more than a 1/2 hour or so the volume will start to fade (sometimes to zero), and it will keep rising and lowering. Is this a problem with the tubes? Wiring? Anything else?

Thanks

If those are tube amps, I'd suspect the tubes.

Sounds very similar to the problem I had with my Marshall DSL401. The amp would overheat and cause solders to fail. I finally went in a resoldered just about everything and installed a cooling fan. Since then the amp has been fine.

But like Ricochet said, check your tubes first.
