First Post! Nice to fins another guitar forum ;)

I usually play everything by hookin' my LP to a M-Audio AUDIO BUDDY (pre-amp) then outta that into my Imac G5 - I use Amplitube and Guitar Rig software within LOGIC EXPRESS... I have a couple of old amps that suck - was thinking of purchasing a Roland Mini Cube this weekend - can I plug the output (headphone out) into the pre-amp and then into my G5? Wanna use Logic Express as my base - I can mic it I know but can I go direct? Will it burn out my sound chip in my Imac?

I just read the manual for the Mini Cube.
You can connect the Rec out/Headphone output of the Mini Cube directly to a line input jack on Imac G5. You should not need a pre-amp in between.
The output level from Mini Cube Rec out should not be able to damage the input ports of the soundcard in Imac.

I just downloaded the manual - didn't see it in it - but OK! The Imac is still under the 1 year warranty so I'll dare it. Thanks bud.

If the amp has a line out there shouldn't be a problem. My adobe acrobat had a problem trying to open the manual.
