Hi, I have a Fender Blues Jr. 15 Watt tube amp. It just recently stopped making sound, you can still hear it a little bit when i turn it up. I was just curious if the amp is messed up somehow or if it just needs new tubes? I'm trying to sell it, and saying that it just needs new tubes, so I dont want to end up screwing somebody. Thanks in advance!
Look and see if any tube is not glowing or lit completely, with dark spots in either the cathodes or the glass, whatever.
I have a Blues Jr. but that doesn't mean I know exactly what the problem is. Sounds like a tube, so maybe replace it.
