I finally got one! I got myself a Guyatone Reverb Custom amp. Its an exact copy of the Fender Twin Reverb Silverface. i think its from 1976, but unsure. I would love to post some clips, but i dont have a mic. It has 2x12 inch drivers, made in Tokyo. It sound very nice it has a great treble and bass response. Its quite battered, but i guess that what youd expect from an amp thats 30 yrs old. It appears to have the original Mullard power valves, and some Japanese preamp valves. They are probably 20 yrs old, but still sound pretty amazing. it has an amazing spring reverb, and tube tremolo, which i cant really use as i dont have a footswitch. Anyway, thats abot it. Ill post pics and clips ASAP.
Regards,
Leo.

Drools... MULLARDS... Lol. Should sound like a dream. What is your rig up to the amp?

My rig is a Hamer guitar, Behringer eq, Boss Super Overderve pedal, Marshall Guv'Nor, and a Boss Noise Supressor, and last, but not at all the least (and infact probably the most) my very own set of fingers heheh, thanks for being interested!!
PS.
All i payed for the amp was 220£/400$! Cheaper and better than the new modern tube amps

Congrats, that is a great find. Tube amps are much more durable than most people believe. You can find 50 year old amps on EBay that are still going strong.
Have fun and don't blast the neighbors too much.

You should be able to get some great sound from if. Was the company nice enough to give you any options for dropping the power from 100 watts down to 25. There are a few Twins that had that option and one amp you don't hear much about was called a Fender Super chorus that had a purple covering on them. When you drop them down to 25 watts with the chorus effect on it sounded amazing.

Nah, unfortunately, it wasn't blessed with such a switch (which would come in really useful as i do have to play quite loudly richt now, but the amp sounds good quiet too). I really love the "bright" switch though. IT can make a great change to the sound instantly.

Terminator,
I can't access the clip, I apparently need a soundclick ID.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
