I have the opportunity to pick up a Peavey VTX-MX head with two matching cabs for $400...the reason I'm really interested is because everything is in flight cases, and I've been looking for a solid halfstack, but I don't have a ton of cash to fork out. Is this even worth the purchase? I play a lot of rock, metal, southern rock.....any advice at this point would be great.

I don't have a lot of fancy tech things to say about the amp package. But are we talking old school made in the USA Peavey, 130 watts, all tube? Ain't nuthin' wrong with that! :lol:
