while my amp was on and guitar cord plugged into the amp, i put the other side of the cord into another plug-in on the amp instead of a guitar, my amp seemed to go dead and wont return to the living, can anyone tell me what happend in there
I don't understand that one. Jumpering two inputs together has been done a lot with tube amps. I don't see what it'd hurt on a solid state one, either. Take it to the shop and get 'em to check it out.

I'm wondering if you have some sort of circuit breaker designed to protect your amp from yourself, that popped out. Some speakers have them built into the cabinet. It's worth looking into before you take it in and pay.
