Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100 vs. Hiwatt Hi Gain 100

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and I just want some advice,

I've recently bought a Hiwatt Hi Gain 100 head and equivalent cab, but I'm thinking of buying a DSL 100 instead, would you say this is a good move?

I love the Hiwatt, but due to circumstances out of my control, it has blown on me twice and I've lost faith in the amp, so to speak. Hiwatt have agreed to either refund me or send me a replacement head, or I could buy my friends DSL 100.

I'm a bit lost at what to do, and any informed opinions would be greatly appreciated,
