May anybody explain a bit about midi footcontrol pedals? ..is it only used with digital gear or does it control series of Analog pedals too? :roll: ? ...finally; is it really useful for stage performances? thx

a MIDI floorboard will send signals out that can be interpretated by many different devices. For example: when using both my Boss GX700 and Behringer V-amp I could set it up such that I could change patches on both devices using only one midi board. the advantages are quite obvious for stage performance since you can manage different devices far mor efficiently. Furthermore you could use MIDI to change many paramaters on (mostly digital) devices accepting midi signals.
A cheap general midi board would be the behringer FCB1010.
