Does anyone have any experience of this little box of tricks? I've got one coming and I don't really know what to expect.

I've moved this one to this forum as it's likely to get more feedback here. Can anybody help big_star?

If you do a Google search for "sansamp gt2" and "reviews", you'll get a number of hits but they're a bit hard to sort through.

Here's one mixed review:

There's one a bit down the page here that calls it one of the best pieces of gear available:

Thanks MF. That first review was the kind of thing I was looking for. The reviews at Harmony Central all seem to say 'It's mine, so it's great.' and you end up none the wiser.

You can always stick 'em back on eBay if they disappoint.

If I am not mistaken this is the floor version of the Trademark 10, which was shamelessly cloned to the last detail by Behringer. As far as I can see, that review could have been about either three of these units, all of them have the 'tweed is MUCH softer then brit/calif' etc problems. The TM10, which should sound quite like he GT2, sounds really good to me. Espescially the overdriven clean sounds are AWESOME for bluesy stuff.
