I was just wondering, with the VAMP2 from Behringer is it able to be connected with say a Behringer Cab without the use of a poweramp? Or does it need a poweramp? I was just wondering.

Any help would be much abliged.

You should really use a power amp or guitar amp. it will power headphones. I would have to look at the spec's for output power. Along time ago when a few of us musicians would go out to cabins by Flagstaff AZ. I use to push a couple car stereo speakers with a rockman. Then the crew would show up a day later with the generators we could fire up the tube amps and pa.

No way you can push a cab with the V-amp, or any modeling pre-amp. Your best bet would be connecting it to a set of neutral/transparant monitors, using guitar cabinets isn't what a amp modeler is really waiting for. Check out some of the Behringer active Truth monitors, should be MORE then loud enough and will really show you what that little V-amp is able to do.
