Which should I get? I have some money and im looking around. Should I get the Digitech whammy pedal thing or should I get a VOX wah pedal?

Do you need a wammy sound or a wah sound? Totally different pedals and noone can recommend anything without knowing what you're after.
Both pedals will open up new world to travel and explore. Both take practice and time to master effectively. Which route to take only you can decide. Most bags of tricks include a Wah and Volume pedal. Do you have an equalizer?

Well wah is a cool and universal effect that youd expect anyone should have if they hav any effect at all. But whammy pedals are pretty crazy...Depends what you wanna do, i guess wah would be more commonly used...
i totally agree with arjen. When i saw the title i was thinking how do you compare. A whammy pedal does some really crazy stuff. As someone mentioned a wah would be more commonly used. If you get a wah personally, i would recommend the jim dunlop 535q. I love mine. We need to know what stuff u play.

I'd get the effect I needed most for what I want to play.
There are tons of cool effects out there, and sadly we can't own them all. So you have to buy effects to fill needs, or at least I do. If you know how to get money to buy effects you don't need . . can you tell me how! :)

Well you could rob a bank or a casino, win the lottery, sell your house...thats what I normally do, one of those... :)
