Most of us have made our first post here saying hello and introduciting ourselves. The subject line tends to be a simple hi, hello, newbee checking in, introducting myself or similar greeting. I suggest that we include our hometown, state or region. It is understsand that the internet can be a dangerious place and we all need to respect each others pivacy. Yet, his type introduction might lead to jam sessions, playing partners, forming a band or local or regional events. Any one have an opinion?

I think that wouldn't hurt. Most members also have their location under their avatar too, and there's always the "I'm the map" sticky.
