Hi!
I just started seriously learning to play about 3 months ago. I am almost 50 yrs. old and took lessons many, many years ago. I have always loved the guitar and decided I would really get serious and try to at least learn how to entertain myself if nothing else. I do not feel I am progressing very fast, and as of right now, I am just teaching myself. I hope to start taking a few lessons soon. I have a good friend who builds classical guitars which are truely a work of art, and I purchased my guitar from him. I will never do this guitar justice with my playing. I hope to learn much from this forum.

Welcome aboard classicalbetts!

Any chance your friend who builds the classical guitars has a web site? If so, you could post a link to it on the "Unabashed site or product promotion" forum, and maybe some players here would like to purchase some guitars. Just a thought.

Hope you find alot of usefull stuff here, (there's alot!), and feel free to always ask questions if you need to. None are to silly or trivial, and you'll always find someone willing to help out.

Welcome - enjoy the fun...

I'll only be down there (in the basement practicing) for a couple of minutes or so...
