Okay I just re-registered her at guitarnoise, it's been a couple years since my last post.

I've been playing guitar about 4 years, accoustic only, I took lessons for about twelve months, and the rest of the time has been spent learning on my own.

I play everyday, play not practice..... thus the reason I probably havent advanced as quickly as I'd like.

I have a Yamaha FG Ltd Ed 04, this has been my only guitar, BUT Today I ordered a Epiphone Masterbuilt Series, I cant wait to get it. All solid wood, Mahogany Sides and back with a Spruce top, built in pick up, it has a vintage suburst finish, and sloped shoulders... you can probably tell I'm excited about my new toy.

Well I'll try to check in daily and post where I think I can be helpfull although I'm very much still a newbie after playing four years.

Well thanks for letting me share my excitment, I look forward to learning a lot here.

David

Welcome back to GN, David!

I'm another guitarist who doesn't practise - I play songs. It may not be the quickest route to global superstardom, but it suits me - every now and then I make a little breakthrough that makes me hungry for more. And it is a lot more fun than repeating scales etc !!!

:D :D :D
