Greetings from Lancashire.....although officially I'm in Merseyside....half a mile one way I'd be in Greater Manchester, half a mile a different way I'd be in Cheshire....I was born in Lancashire, my eldest two daughters were born in the same Hospital and it says Cheshire on their birth certificates.....confusing innit!!!!

Nearly made it all the way up to you're neck of the woods today. Had to visit a factory to discuss a job in Chester, just off the M6. saw the sign "Liverpool" only 25 miles. I'm afraid I wasn't driving and I couldn't bribe him to make those extra few miles, we had to get back to Gloucestershire and work for the afternoon.
It's not a bad run up your way so I feel more confident about a trip up some time this year.
