Hi everyone,
I am Rutawari Dani. I recently joined Guitarnoise. I have been playing the guitar for the last 18-19 years. I do not play any particular style but I play the rhythm and lead guitar generally for Bollywood(Hindi) music and English songs.
I learned to play the guitar in India. I have accompanied a lot of singers in stage shows, performed on Radio/recordings etc.
After coming to the US I joined a Leaading Bay Area Indiab band called 'Tarang'.. we used to do Bollywood Music concerts.
I performed once LIVE on the KKUP radio. Now the band is closed since a couple of years but I play whenever I get a chance. I do Musicals for children as well at my son's school or at private parties. I am also in the process of setting up classes in Guitar Basics through Bollywood Music.
Besides guitar I also siing and play the keyboard.
I wish to learn to play different styles now and so trying to teach myself Blues these days. Would love to jam in if I get a chance. I'd welcome any suggestions/info regarding guitar/music. I look fwd to interesting times with GN.

There's a forum for jams and collaborations - you could try your hand at some of those. I'm guessing from the length of time you've been playing, and the list of achievements, you're a fairly accomplished musician, so we might be picking YOUR brains shortly!
