Hi, guys!
My name is Josh and I'm new here. I'm based out of a small town in Iowa. Currently I listen to a lot of alternative/emo/plain o'l rock music. I'm not a fan of classic rock. If it's before the 90's I probably don't like it.
I have a strange guitar/amp/pedal set-up that usually gets people to scratch their heads but I couldn't love my set-up more. I run a Schecter Blackjack into a Fender Princeton for clean and a Vox VT120+ for distortion. My clean signal gets no effects, straight from my ABY switcher to the Fender. My dirty signal goes from my ABY switcher to an Aria Distortion pedal, to a Boss Flanger, finally through a ISP Decimator.
I've been in a wide range of bands. In high school I was in an electronica band, then after I was in a pop-punk band and now I'm in a band where we just jump around in sounds. One song could be metal, the next fast punk, the next power ballad.
I also fiddle around with recording. I'm still learning but I have a lot of fun doing it.
