Hi to all!

I discovered the guitar and guitarnoise many years ago ... time has passed .... I am back to square one ... the guitars have been in storage and there coming out to play!

Glad to recognise so many names ... from the past ... back for good with a new spirit of learning!

There are so many articles to read ... and lessons to learn!

... that noise you hear is my Signature Sound ... lovely ain't it?

Hi ... for guitars here goes:

1) Indie (guitar co) nice semi - thin hollow body in black - which is allowed enough to hear not plugged in :-)
2) Gibson Les Paul from the USA red glitter standard -very comfortable but heavy due to the mahogany ... back breaker ;-)
3) 12 sting electric fender 1960 something jap reissue ... of which I need to restring (that'll take me an hour or so ...)
4) sold the tele for the 12 string electric :-( sobs ....

two amps:
1) 1970 - tube 'WEM' clubman Mark8 (very loud for a 6 watt amp) with nice vintage british tone ... warm base notes ...
2) 1988 - Fender Red knob twin which has never been over 1 on the volume knob ( 1 to 10) ... very very loud amp

Other stuff for practicing:
1) behringer little mixer (ub802)
2) Boss DR-3 drum machine (with base)
3) Cordless headphones Sony's
4) a couple of cheap mic's but they do the job
5) waiting on a Tascam cassette tape deck .... to record the noise ... and play it back ...
6) assorted pedals, wah, etc ...

work's a little slow .... so it's time to play :-)))

Good to see you back - but no tele? Oh dear....

If I remember correctly, didn't you used to be based in Dorset? And split your time between there and France?

:D :D :D

Welcome back! Sounds like with all that gear you might as well put it to some good use, eh?

Hi Vic,

You are correct ... sort off ... Wiltshire and France ... and now ... just France. What a memory! The loss of the tele ... my first true love :-) ... My work has taken me to distant lands ... but now I have some time to enjoy the guitar again!

Great to hear you are still around on guitar noise and look forward to your advice on all matters :-)

All the best!
