Hello,
I am Prateek Saxena. I live in India and am 14 years old. I have been thinking of getting a guitar and playing it for a very long time now. Yesterday, I heard the song 'Brimful of Asha' by the 'Cornershop' and then I totally wanted to get a guitar. Right now I dont have a guitar, niether do I know how to play one. But I had been collecting money for a new iPod so I can buy a guitar(the iPod can wait) . I have found the tabs of that song that you can chek out on the following website. So I am planning to buy a guitar in the next few days and realized that I did not have a tutor to teach me, and then I found this website so I dont need a tutor. Some of my friends know how to play the guitar so if I do need some One-on-One help I will be able to get it.
Good Look on the Listen
PEACE

Hey Prateek
Welcome to Guitarnoise and good luck on finding and learning. The fact that you have friends that play will be a big help. It doesnt take anything that special to learn guitar, just patience and practice mostly. You sounds like a really intelligent guy so you shouldnt have any problems that are out of the ordinary.
Good luck
Jim
