New to learning, congratulations. Play with everybody you have the chance to and keep your eyes and ears open. Always keep in mind that everybody starts with the same amount of experience and million and millions of people learned the guitar with out all of the resources you have today. Mostly, ask questions and give us your thoughts.
And don't give up. You will hit a wall sometimes and get frustrated and consider it, but hang in there and work past it. It'll get easier of you keep at it.
Yeah...and don't shine on the books here on GN. The guys that wrote 'em are always here...which is a resource in itself!
