Greetings all. Names rtx (real name is josh).
Been playing guitar for about, 2 months, but only serious playing for about 1 month. I play electric, I have an Ashton beginners guitar. Just a red wood one. ( I thought it was pretty decent for a beginner guitar, plus my parents thought I would'nt keep at it, boy I shall prove them wrong ).
I do graphic arts, mainly 3d modeling or either large scale graphics or signatures for forums. 15 years old, and from Sydney, Australia.
Im into Rock music, eg. Metallica, some J-PopRock, and I like some heavy metal, disturbed etc.
Anyway, just giving the introduction to myself.
:D

Hi Josh. Welcome to GN.

I've been playing a few more weeks than you (and i'm probably the same age as your parents - or older )

Lemmme tell ya, learning is a lot easier at your age than it is when you get older.
Keep at it, you'll get a lot of fun out of that guitar.

- I hope to keep at it.
Im really eager to learn two songs.., which I have posted here: https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23279
Mainly the first song, which goes for 44 seconds. Just the chords =]

There are folks of all ages here.
And all experience levels.

And no matter what level of player someone is, they all have something that they can teach the rest of us.
It's pretty amazing, actually.

Hey, My names Josh too!!!

But technically I was named first, so I'm the Alpha Josh.

What program do you use? I spent about two years of my life huddled in front of my computer playing with 3ds Max. Quality stuff.

Anyway, it's good to have you here, and remember, if you give up on guitar the angles of heaven will eat your face.
