New to the site here.....I'm 52 and got back into playing guitar in May '05 after many years' hiatus. I was never a player, just knew a few basic chords. Got a beater acoustic on Ebay, and now I have a whole stable of guitars (5, to be exact).
Interested in blues and roots music mainly, but enjoy most forms of music. Rock, folk, jazz......
I live in Vancouver, Canada. My other interests are reading, and the outdoors (hiking, and ocean kayaking).

I'm absolutely amazed at the resources available to the student musician, especially on the internet and the many instructional DVD's on the market. I'm no Otis Rush or Mississippi John Hurt, to be sure, but I'm better than I ever was!
