Been a while guys. Last time i was on i was bragging about my takamine purchase. Now i hope i back for the long haul. Had a busy period with university work and my work and band stuff, so i havent really been able to get online. But i'm back and have a new reason for bragging to you all.

I HAVE BOUGHT AN AMERICAN TELECASTER!!!!!

Best guitar i've ever played :) (Except for maybe that PRS one time. But i never owned that so it doesn't count.)

I'll be posting pictures and that soon! (Hopefully with the legendary thomas the tank wallpaper again)

Good to be back

David Watts
Takamine G-Series - £229
Fender STD American Telecaster (Cola Red) - £849
Vox 15watt AMP (Valve pre amp) - £129

Hey mate, yes I remember the name or have come across it! :D

Congrats on the American Standard Tele in Candy Cola. You lucky dog. Cheers. 8)

All you need is to get that PRS back, add a Strat and LP and you'll have all 4 cornerstones in place.

Plus, you'd have more tone than than is fit for the Queen and all her Court. And play Concerts for the Prince's Trust?

Thats the one you've posted there, except mine has a dark wood fretboard.

I really want that PRS, it was LP shaped, but not neck-heavy like most LP's i've played, so i dont have a very high opinion of LP's except PRS ones. But this guitar plays a dream, and with my new Vox amp, with 22 pre programmed channels, and also fully customizable ones there is no need for pedals. One press of a button and its changed.

One day, when i own my own house, i'm gonna have a room full of guitars and other instruments.

One person has welcomed me back..... I feel wanted :( LOL!!!

Thanks Blue Jay

Make that two.....welcome back, David!!!

LOVE that Tele, though I've got to admit I'd prefer maple over mahogany, fret-board wise, any day of the week. Scrybe's got one the same colour, although like mine, hers is MIM and maple fretboard.

Yep, as opposed to MIA - made in America. (NOT missing in action!)
