Hi all,

Yet another GN newbie!. This is Dani from Madrid, Spain. Trying to learn to play electric guitar at 32...too old to r'n'r but too young to die ;-)

Been "playing" for 3 months, got an Epiphone Les Paul which still sounds like I'm skinning a cat... but I'm having a whole lot of fun!

Never touched a guitar before but always wanted to, I love music, specially classic rock, so after years of listening and admiring good music I've finally decided to take the plunge.

I'll keep you posted with my progress, if any :-)

Cheers!

Dani, welcome, and you picked the right site to come to for help and communicating with fellow musicians. You can learn a lot from some of the GuitarNoise Addicts and Denizens!

It is a small world for metal fanatics. I welcome you fellow musicians, especially the metalheads!

Hi Dani
I'm 32 too, and also with an Epi LP (among others) - too old??
Keep on havin' fun - and when the frustration sets in, vent it here!

...only thing I know how to do is to keep on keepin' on...

You're never too old to r'n'r. Ask Keef.

There's plenty here that started later than you - myself included. You're a mere pup compared to some of us.

Welcome to GN.

Look forward to seeing you round the boards.

32 is a great age to start, usually you've got less on your mind at that age then some of us crazy youngsters...

Who needs a signature?
I mean really...
It's almost always lyrics...
or a cliche...
or garbage about me...
Lets just save YOU from the pain, ok?

Welcome Dani! I was 44 when I bought my first electric 6 months ago (with no musical background). You and I will never learn it if we don't start. LET'S ROCK! 8)
