An audience of slightly under 100, I guess, saw tonight's show.
The lighting was good, and we played as well as we possibly could. apart from the Musical Director and the keyboard player, we all still got a bit lost in places - but don't forget we're two guitarists and a bassist who played together for the first time 48 hours ago, we're not complaining.
The drummer needs a rocket, the sound desk need to turn up the mics as or before people start to talk rather than halfway through the line, the stage needs sweeping because there was a dust cloud hanging around, and we need better lights on the music stands to be able to read our scores. Apart from that.....
Tumultuous applause, though, and hopefully we'll have ironed out any glitches for the rest of the week's shows. Somebody came up and said "Thank you;" that's always nice.
