Just thought I'd let the people living on this side of the pond of a mini acoustic festival here in "sunny" Essex.
Being held at the Essex Arms public house, which is about 75 yards from Brentwood station and running from Friday 22nd of June 'til the 24th there will be five sessions. Friday eve, 7 ~ close, Sat afternoon 12 ~ 7pm and then 7 ~ close and the same on Sunday. Entry is £2.00 per session or six quid for all five! Some extremely talented musicians will be playing along with some, who may not be quite so talented but make up for it with enthusiasm.
Before you ask, no I'm not organising it, helping to run it, nor am I playing in it!! But it should be a great weekend of music if you can get along.
