Actually, the boyz at noize have a very nice site. It's not some fly by night rip-off. It seems to be a very well written blog with a lot of useful information. I don't begrudge them anything.

Most of the Big Ad companies out there use your IP-adress to get a rough indication from where you're from and choose ads from their database that match your location.
