Oops! Thanks for pointing that out.
You'd think I know better, but I'm still new to this Internet thing.
It's easy done. It's only natural to want to put a full stop at the end of a sentence. When they invented punctuation URLs hadn't even been though of.
I've lost count of the amount of posts I've had to edit because of a wayward full stop at the end of a URL.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.
It bugs me to leave sentences unfinished. So I handle one ending in an URL like this: https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/ I figure the colon serves as a sentence closer, with the subject URL standing alone. Dunno what the style books have to say about it, but it works to keep me out of broken link trouble.

Ok The song Trevor isn't me singing or playing but I wrote it , I do sing Choices though { only a snippett } as my voice has a quality like eating lemons , only a very few people in the world actually enjoy eating lemons like oranges ..
Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am
