People have asked, so let's see whether or not it's feasible. Chime in, people!

Peace

Sounds good to me...not too far of a drive from Indiana.  Maybe somewhere in the Cincinnati area?  On the same weekend as a Reds home game?  Baseball and guitar...it doesn't get any better than that!

I'm in.  Any weekend in May should work, or during the summer.

I'll see if I can round up some locals and maybe a place we can hold it.  I'd offer my house, but my 5 and 7 year-olds have a way of taking over (the little guy in the picture, especially).  Still, if we get the people and the date, I should be able to find a place in the Cincinnati area.

Depending on the weekend. I could probably make this seminar....

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- "WOW--What a Ride!"

If its by April, for sure.  After that, I'd be hit or miss...

Third weekend of April (Saturday 17th) isn't good for me as I've got a seminar here in Massachusetts. Before or after is okay (as of now!)...

Peace

I would love to join up with you.  My schedule is pretty flexible over the next few months.  Whatever weekend you all can agree on will be fine with me.  I am looking forward to it.

Id like something late summer.  I could attend so long as it is in the summer.  Preferably later summer.

The semester's starting up in late August, so maybe not too late?

How late is late?

How about Dayton for a location?  You could draw from Cincinnati and Columbus and Indiana still.

Capital University in Columbus runs adult education classes there.  They might have facilites in Dayton that you could use.

Just  thinking aloud here.

Unless, of course, you use music shops to sponsor the event and provide space.  I could give you some names if you like.

I'd prefer a small private area to a music store, myself. A school or a church or someplace that has a large room.

Dayton is fine with me, how does it fly for everyone else?

The firtst full weekend of August is out for me, as is the last one...

So shall we try to nail down either ther weekend of the 14th or the 21st?

Peace

Dayton works for me.  I have a friend who lives there so I have a place to sleep for the weekend!

So Dayton on either the weekend of the 14th or 21st of August then?

For me it would have to be around the 14th.  The 20th  of August is my anniversary.  The only hitch might be new student orientation kicking in earlier than planned at the moment -- which is evidently a possiblity.
