05/04/42 makes Allan Clarke of the Hollies 65 today.

Sadly no longer touring with the Hollies he retired due to family commitments in 1999 after returning to them from a short lived solo career.
Well now you can retire legally in this country

One of my favourite bands back in those long-ago days....still think they made some great pop music, in the days before pop was a dirty word...
