Haven't been around for a week or two as I fell over a couple of weeks ago and tore all the tendons in my left shoulder (rotator cuff tendons) which means playing guitar is out of the question.
I'm seeing an orthopaedic surgeon next week and I understand from the Net that this injury takes many months to heal although never completely. I am hoping that the doctor will tell me I'll be able to play again within a few weeks (or, at the worst, a few months).
Thanks again for the birthday wishes (can't quite get my head around the fact that I'm now 60).
