I hope it ain't true but I heard that he passed away....
If true, then it is the end of an era.
When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming......
like the passengers in his car.
Seems it is true - Reuters: Mitch Mitchell dies age 62
Indeed the end of an era - there are now no surviving members of the original Jimi Hendrix Experience.
RIP Mitch.

"Sometimes the beauty of music can help us all find strength to deal with all the curves life can throw us." (D. Hodge.)
I hardly recognized him the last interview I saw.....geez he looked old, but Noel Redding I could spot instantly.
I didn't know Noel croaked too...in 2003..........sad times....
Shame. Two Hendrix drummers gone within a year of each other. RIP.
RIP.
Did he play Woodstock with Jimi?

"The only way I know that guarantees no mistakes is not to play and that's simply not an option". David Hodge
that was Mitch at Woodstock. I learned of his passing yesterday. last night I played my Hendrix records. his drumming was amazing. who else could play with the maniac Hendrix? another loss that will be missed. he was a real experience.
He was a young man! Will be missed. RIP Mitch.
Teamwork- A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.
He played at Woodstock and also he was interviewed for the DVD. A track contains a documentary on the concert Mitchell and other musicians and organizers speak about the concert.
