Good luck with your gig! 8)

I really like your original songs. Are you playing all originals, or are you going to play some covers as well?

I will not be in the NY area this weekend, or I would stop in, but please give us a detailed report of how it went. :D

Rock the house! 8)

Thanks Dan,

I'll be doing all originals. I may do a Bob Marley tune though theres time to throw a cover in - folks usually ask me to do a Marley song or two and I enjoy playing redemption song - so maybe I'll do that. But right now I've got 10-12 originals lined up for the set. I'll let oyu know how it goes.

Happy Holidays!

How was the gig?

Wow, I totally left this post hanging! Sorry, been a while. But yeah NYC has been good to me. I've actually been back for another gig since this. I've got some friends up there that are really great and always bring people out. Last time I was out there, one friend brought a crowd of 7, a few others came in by themselves, so its been good to have played to a listening audience. On the business side, I lost money the first time, but I broke even the second time with CD sales. Its expensive travelling!

The performance experience has been great though. I'm looking to make a shift from the solo acoustic experience though. I want to add a percussionist regularly, and a bass player every now and then. It seems a lot more venues open up to you for bookings when you're more than a one man act. But hey, I've really enjoyed writing and performing my songs the way they were written. Looking to do some more travelling before the year runs out - south, and west!

See ya!
