Love to hear this stuff, Bruce is coming out with a new album (I'm old-fashioned) in April, titled "Devils and Dust"...acoustic, with what sounds like a more intimate than The Rising tour to follow!!!

Have Mercy!!! i'm Saved again!!!

By the way, you're way off on Bruce being over-rated...he's been at the top of the music-industry for over thirty years...He's a thoughtful and prolific songwriter and he's one of the last true rock and rollers we have left...

Springsteen does not play "like rock stuff". He plays rock, pure and simple.

Mirrow, listen to Nebraska a couple of times, and then tell me Bruce is overrated.

That's good news - I really liked The Rising a lot, and am definitely anticipating this album now.

Henry Garza, Saul Hudson, and Darrell Abbott could not be here tonight, but they all had sex and are proud to announce the birth of their two-headed baby, Rodya S. Thompson.

Mirrow: whats up with you and 'overrated'? Looks to me that to you 'overrated' means 'others like it and I don't.'...

Acoustic?...I gotta hear it! Might try to play it! :D

If it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing.

Mirrow, listen to Nebraska a couple of times, and then tell me Bruce is overrated.

And then take into consideration that this entire album was a demo tape, recorded in his garage on a 4-track, and you'll see just how good this guy is.

Well, if you can't make it, stay hard, stay hungry, stay alive, if you can, and meet me in a dream of this hard land.

Does my heart good to hear from all of ya. I mean, opinions vary, but why rain on someones parade simply to say you think they are over-rated?

If you can't say something nice....

I've always felt that Bruce was honest with himself, and as importantly, to his fans...

Looking forward to a great album, and, of course, tour to follow. 8)

Thanks everyone!

Bruce is one of the greats.....and Nebraska is a classic album.....anything he does is well worth a listen. The E Street Band were one of the tightest, funkiest backing bands ever.....

I'll be first in the queue for any new album......

:D :D :D

Overrated? Well I guess you've never seen The Boss. He's number one in my book. It will be interesting to see what the tour to support this album is like. I'm looking forward to it.

Well I got this guitar and I'm tryin' to learn how to make it talk.

Oddly, the latest edition of "Guitar" magazine in Germany has a bio on Bruce Springsteen, that makes very interesting reading.

The essence of it is that he is very passionate about his music. He still returns to his roots (Asbury Park, is it New Jersey?) and plays in the place that gave him a start in the business. And I bet he doesn't demand huge sums of money to do it, either.

He is one of a small group of people, whose music and/or personality you may or may not like, but one thing you cannot deny them is respect. He is not only known for singing, he is also a very proficient songwriter.

How can you overrate a person who is so highly respected by his peers - musicians?

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

(Asbury Park, is it New Jersey?)
Yep. It's a shore resort in northern New Jersey (up near New York).

In case you haven't seen the pattern yet, Mirrow just comes into any given thread and says it's overrated. Doesn't really matter what it is.

"Bruce's songs? Overrated, clearly, Mozart was a better composer".
"Yngwie's technique? Overrated. He's slow and clumsy"
"Poll: Who is the most overrated?"
"C#? Overrated. Clearly Db was better"

Responding to Mirrow's trolling? Overrated.

Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life...
